MUI Chat is now available in public alpha. Expect rapid iteration, occasional bugs, and breaking changes as we refine the experience.

MUI Chat is an AI-powered development environment that helps you build front-end web applications with MUI (Material UI and MUI X) through natural-language prompts. You can try it at chat.mui.com.

What you can do today

Describe a feature in any language and have the agent implement it across multiple files.
Get UI and component guidance tailored to MUI, including patterns for Material UI and MUI X.
Iterate quickly: refine prompts, review changes, and repeat until the result matches your intent.
Provide extra context with attachments (for example, screenshots) to help the agent match layout and styling.
