A list of known issues and errors
Tips to avoid issues
Before you start, try the following:
- Use Chrome or a Chromium-based browser.
- Selectively disable browser extensions, especially ad blockers, to see if this resolves the issue.
- If accessing MUI Chat through a VPN, try again with the VPN disabled.
- Check if antivirus software is blocking MUI Chat assets, especially if you receive a 403 or 404 error.
White screen, grey screen, or no preview showing
Prompt to the Chat:
This may resolve the issue in some but not all cases. If this doesn't resolve the issue, repeated prompting won't be successful. Don't make repeated attempts, as this uses up tokens.
The prompt is too long, or the project exceeds the total supported prompt size
You may need to inspect the project for unused files and remove them by yourself. For now, that's the only way for you to proceed with this but we are working on providing a more robust and automated way to fix it.
Chat history or project disappears
If your project is missing, this is a serious bug that requires MUI's help to investigate. Contact the support team at support@mui.com.
Out of memory (OOM)
This error occurs where there is no enough memory available to show the preview of the project. To free up system memory, close unnecessary applications and browsers tabs.
AI is stuck or unresponsive
If the AI seems stuck or unresponsive to commands, resetting the AI context window can help.
